National Firefighter Questionnaire

This practice questionnaire is modelled on the National Firefighter Questionnaire (NFQ) from the older national selection process and is built around its seven Personal Qualities and Attributes (PQAs). Unlike the ability tests, there are no right or wrong answers — respond honestly based on how you actually think and behave, not how you think a firefighter should respond.

Important: Be honest rather than trying to guess the “right” answer. Behavioural questionnaires commonly look at how consistent your answers are, so over-polished answers can work against you.
